One of the most interesting lectures, definitely.
Just to remind myself:
To create something new entrepreneur should answer main questions:
- what problem will it solve?
- What market will be opened?
- Will I earn money?
And product should include additional characteristics:
- innovative
- unique
- solves problem
- gives a long-term profit

I was exited about the creativity exercises. Pictures! Examples! Real advises!
Creativity is not so easy to find. If you have – come on, develop! If not… at least, you can steal (or buy) someone’s idea.
But one mind does not let me.
Can we be sure, that all these well-known people are really creative? Maybe Steve Jobs and Bill Gates (just an example) are just good managers and nothing more? What if they just bought (or stolen, or hired people with) creativity? Example (or standart) of what are they in that case?
hej Yulia
ОтветитьУдалитьnice words
and you are right, we can never be sure if the people you mentioned created all their ideas but, practically speaking, creating the idea is a small part of creativity, the rest is how to use it :)
Well. if entreneurs are creative organizers they do not have to be entrepreneurial themselves by able to attract and inspire creative persons.
ОтветитьУдалитьSince entrperneurship also is about enactment we should talk about creactivity. Right?
Bengt
I believe that those people are real entrepreneurs because started from scratch. Their managerial skills were developed later on when their companies began to grow and expand. Otherwise, if Steve Jobs was not that creative, Apple wouldn't be in a leading position in the computer industry.
ОтветитьУдалитьHi Julia,
ОтветитьУдалитьYou have raised good questions in your blog. However, we shouldn't forget that there is creativity in already existent organizations, and thus entrepreneurship. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates might be good managers and more organizers of the resources that they have and acquired, however, there should be some creativity in the way they do it, some innovative ways to change themselves and to continue to perform better than the others.

Hej everyone!
ОтветитьУдалитьKhalid, Antoniya, team work learned us to be both creative and entrepreneurial:)
Bengt, of course, you are right. But in this case - is there any difference between entrepreneur and manager?
Pahom, these names are just examples. You right, they started with scratches, but nowadays - can they be called entrepreneurs, or this word for them should be let in the past?
Hi Yulia. First time looking at your blog and I find it interesting. Regarding your blog about entrepreneurial creativity, one point I would like to make is that your definition is limited and I believe entrepreneurship is not always about money (will I earn any money if I create something new?) but also about non-profit projects that will impact and benefit society, in general, with no financial turnover in return.
ОтветитьУдалитьJust wanted to make this point. Thank you!

Mihai
Hej Mihai)
ОтветитьУдалитьentrepreneurship is not always about money, definitely. Tell you more, personally I'm more interested in self-actualization, not in profit. Money as a good motivator, but in most cases it is not enough yo create a real innovative product.
